What our Teammates Say...

Getting the opportunity to play for the USA Eagles Football Club has been a life changing experience for me.  I still keep in contact with players that I met from my very first game in England in 2004.  This is a testament to those relationships that you help to make, build, develop and keep for the rest of your life. Along with meeting new players from across the US, you get the opportunity to meet new people, players, coaches and fans from other countries. Learning about new countries, cities, people and cultures are one of the added benefits of traveling with the USA Eagles Football Clubl.  Had I not been accepted to play with the USA Eagles, I don't know that I would've been able to have these many great experiences.

I was given the opportunity to wear my countries colors, represent my family, my church, my friends, my city, my State and the sport that I love.  There's no greater feeling than to meet up with a bunch of guys from all over the country and have a sense of pride and coming together to play America's favorite and most loved sport!  It's a life changing experience, one that you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

I'm grateful to the coaching staff and players that have allowed me to join in on this experience.  I'm thankful that I have been able to see and do the things that I thought were never possible.  This experience has not only changed me as a football player, but has also taught me to be a better person.

Mark Martinez, Strong Safety #7 Hometown - San Jose, CA, 9 Games Played from 2004 to present

I've been playing over seas with Team USA since 2005 and to be recognized on foreign soil as a representative from the USA playing the best game in the world has been one of the highlights of my life. I play this game with pride and passion and to wear the red, white and blue on the fiels brings the word "PRIDE"  to an all new level.

Ron Birdsall, Linebacker #54, Hometown - San Jose, CA, 10 Games played from 2005 to present

The USA Eagles Football Club provides a great opportunity for players and coaches to see other parts of the world on how the game is played. Coach Wyland is a true ammbassador of American football. I had the pleasure of working on his staff back in 2003 and it was an honor to be a part of The USA Eagles.

Mark Garza, Offensive Line Coach, Hometown - Fresno, CA - 1 year coaching with the team and a proud supporter of 6 years.
